Smiles and Giggles

Hey Friends! 

Friends ➜ A word generally associated with excitement, craziness, and adventure on its way! What could be better than good friends getting together???? Well...maybe it being a surprise 💙
 These girls did an AMAZING job at conspiring together to surprise me with a fun sleepover. You see one lives in Idaho the other in Oregon, buuuuuut unbeknownst to me my friend in Idaho had made an unexpected trip this way and decided to surprise me. So she enlisted some help and although I was somewhat suspicious when Mom told me to pack a bag and not ask any questions (generally not a good thing to hear coming from your parent 😜) I reluctantly agreed.
 When we pulled into the designated meeting place and I saw the appearance of a very familiar face  hop out of the other vehicle I was beyond excited!!! From there we made a short 1 hour journey to the other planner of this shindig and before long three friends had been united! 💓 The next two days were spent in memories, dreams, baking, photoshoots, stargazing, hayrides, and giggles.
 You see this reuniting was special not just because we are friends, but because of the circumstances leading to the separation of the three of us. We all attended Fountainview Academy this last school year up until the "decree" that all schools must close due to COVID-19. The entire student body was dispersed and unexpected goodbyes were quickly said. Since then everyone has felt somewhat lonely,  therefore it was such a delight to be reunited and share in more of our ridiculousness and yes seriousness as well :) Thanks ladies for an AMAZING surprise! 💕

These girls are soooo special to me. For the longest time I HOPED and PRAYED and IMAGINED I would one day have friendships like the ones I now all to often take for granted. They say it IS possible to leave without friends. But why would we????? The blessings I've gained from having these ladies in my life cannot be adequately expressed.Sometimes we get sooo busy that we don't make time for our friends or we only stay with them for the good, but I've found that sometimes we miss out on one of the greatest gifts God ever granted us... FRIENDS ⇾ someone to love. So take the time to give of yourself to someone else and you will NOT regret it.  Remember, " A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother."Friends mean strength, laughter, tears and a whole lot more. It's so worth it! Make the time dear friends! 💙
